Yes it is that close and I can not wait!
I have been beating games left and right to clear the urge to have anything waiting to be played while FF13 sits in my PS3.
I zoomed through Call of Duty WAW, Killzone 2, Resistance 2 and Assassin's Creed in a week (yes, they all got enough time to remember the story and enjoy the gameplay. I started Saint's Row 2 last night, after that Prince of Persia, and then I have Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 shipping to me today or tomorrow. I am sure I can have all of these done before 13 hits the shelves.
I am going to my last big party/event for the year this weekend, leaving me with nothing but free time for making music, and gaming!
I have still yet to read too much into the game like I usually do for this series. So far I have only played the demo, and read some interviews about the development, but nothing about the story. So literally, I only know what the demo showed...

Yes, another blog for me!
This is my 3rd blog site (well 3rd for blogger...) and I am ready to do some dirty work with this one!
I remember back when Final Fantasy 7 came out, there was a live streaming video site for the Japanese version that was pretty popular. I wanted to create the same experience for people who are not getting the Japanese version.
A little background on me first.
I have been gaming since a child, and have played and beaten the import version of FF7 - 10 (almost done with the English 12) as well as the US released versions. Yes, that means, I have played them twice in both languages. Before I couldn't understand a lick of Japanese, but as of this writing, I have been living and working in Japan for just over 3 years, and my Japanese is conversational at best. I will admit, I am way behind in my kanji reading, but I can understand what I hear (to a point) and say what I need/want to say in a casual situation.
I teach English, DJ, produce music, and party with all of my friends, but when I am not doing that, I am in my apartment gaming.
Today I pre-ordered my copy of Final Fantasy 13 (pretty expensive here in Japan...) and thought "Hey, why not create a blog to talk about, and post video episodes of different parts of the games (spoilers and non spoilers will be warned beforehand) once the game releases on December 17th here.
If you are interested in any of the other aspects of my life, check my other blogs (Undercats for music, the other one for my life in Japan thus far), but here is where you will find all things related to my Final Fantasy 13 experience.
If you have any questions about the game once it launches, or requests, please make them in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them.
Once the game releases, I will be trying to put out weekly video blogs of different parts (as well as my life in Japan video blogs...Yes I am taking on even more work to add to my already busy life...) and hope I can bring my experience to those who can't wait for the US release, or just want a taste before they get their hands on it. Also any feedback, help, or anything from others importing or playing here in Japan, will be welcome also!
So enough talking, I will be keeping this lightly updated leading up to the launch in a month and 10 days, so keep checking this out, and see you soon with some videos and coverage!
